Eating and drinking outdoors under sunny, blue skies is as Australian as "football, meat pies, kangaroos, and Holden cars".  Now trying to pull this off in congested New York City was never going to be easy but with the opening of our OuT-the-bAcK beer garden we have managed to bring this unique dining experience to Eight Mile Creek.

During the warmer summer months, the garden is home to our weekly "You Bring the Meat, We'll Supply the Barbie" get-togethers on Sunday afternoons.  Its the only the only place you'll find master chefs from all over the world showing off their "unusual" barbequing skills...Herr Carsten and his unique booze-soaked marinades (be sure to avoid the schnapps!!), Scottish Davie and his "New York Haggis", Jono's wonderful "what the hell is this now?" creations that could only originate from Victoria, Chitra's Indian delights, and Frankie's "BHP Steelworks" Stir-fried Veggies with a mighty kick reminiscent of his days working the Blast Furnace shift!

In the coming year, we have great plans for our Out-the-bAcK garden.  We will construct a permanent barbecue/firepit area in the back corner to accommodate all our barbie and roasting needs and, most excitingly, we plan to winterize the entire garden area to ensure year-round "outdoors" dining at Eight Mile Creek!
